Oct: 16 Stile novo.[1] we lay at Hedy[2] \where a Fran.[3] supped with us/ 9 leagues

17. we came to Rennes 5 Leg. We pas[s]ed through chateaux. went st. Pierre.[4] In a league the Country very woody and therefore pleasant.

From Rennes 19th. Lay at Bain.[5] \6 leagues./ thence we past through and dined at Nose[6] 6 leag[ues]

22d lay at St Georges Town[7] passed through 7 leagues of Nantes where we lay 21st.
